Many patients may be dizzy due to myocardial infarction for the following reasons: 1. Because the heart is a blood-pumping system, with the squeezing of the heart, the heart can discharge blood upward into various organs of the body. Especially the human brain requires a larger blood supply, so after myocardial infarction, the contraction of the heart muscle decreases, the amount of blood discharged outward from the heart decreases, and the blood supply to the patient’s brain also decreases significantly, so it will cause the symptoms of dizziness; 2, after a heart attack, it can induce pain in the anterior thoracic region, and after pain occurs, the reflex and stimulation can cause sympathetic excitation, causing an increase in blood pressure, and some patients’ blood pressure is > 180 mmHg, which can lead to vascular dizziness. Some patients’ blood pressure is more than 180 mmHg, which will lead to vasospasm and cause symptoms such as dizziness and headache. Therefore, when heart attack patients experience dizziness, they must first measure their blood pressure to clarify whether their blood pressure is increasing or decreasing. If the patient’s blood pressure is elevated, it must be actively treated to lower the blood pressure. If the blood pressure is lowered, the patient should be made to lie down as soon as possible. Patients with either elevated or reduced blood pressure need to be in bed, and lying down is the best position. If the blood pressure decreases, the patient should be actively transported to the hospital for opening the blood vessels.
