Electrocardiographic manifestations of inferior wall myocardial ischemia

In patients with inferior wall myocardial ischemia, the electrocardiogram may show hypotonic T waves or symmetrical inversion of T waves in leads II, III, and AVF, and there may be horizontal or downward sloping downward shift of the ST segment. In acute myocardial ischemia, the patient may also have an elevated ST segment in leads II, III, and AVF or an elevated T wave in leads II, III, and AVF in the hyperacute phase, and may also have pathological Q waves, so there are various types of ECG manifestations in patients with inferior wall myocardial ischemia. It should also be combined with the degree of T-wave hypoplasia, for example, if T-wave hypoplasia exists, it depends on the R-wave dominant leads, and it is only called T-wave hypoplasia if the T-wave in the R-wave dominant leads is less than 1/10 of the R-wave in the same leads.
