How long does it take to get a reaction to an induced abortion injection?

After the induction of labor, most patients will experience regular contractions within 24-48 hours, and delivery of the fetus within 72 hours is normal, depending on the sensitivity of the pregnant woman to the induction drug and the size of the fetus. The induction of labor refers to the use of drugs that promote uterine contractions to facilitate the delivery of the fetus, usually Levanox or indocin, or other drugs placed in the vagina, which usually cause irregular abdominal pain, bloody vaginal discharge and premature rupture of the fetal membranes 24-48 hours after administration. Some people are less sensitive to the drug, and the contractions will appear relatively late, but usually not more than 72 hours. If there is no response 72 hours after the induction of labor, the induction of labor will fail and a second induction will be required. In addition, induction of labor usually requires hospitalization. It is recommended to keep a calm mind and to review the ultrasound two weeks after the operation.
