The patient was a young female patient with a preoperative diagnosis of flat hip who required surgical treatment to improve her quality of life. The patient was young and had high requirements for surgical results. After repeated consideration, we chose the latest ceramic large-head acetabular prosthesis on the market, the S-ROM femoral prosthesis. The S-ROM stem can perfectly adjust the length of the patient’s lower limb and eliminate the patient’s limping gait. Therefore, the patient was able to walk on his own three days after surgery, and felt that both lower limbs were equal in length without any obvious discomfort. The patient was able to jog without any pain and other discomfort at the postoperative review in one month. At one month after surgery, he had already returned to work. Therefore, we believe that for young, active patients with high quality of life requirements, the IV nano-ceramic is a near-perfect choice to maximize the quality of life, minimize surgical complications, and return to normal life and work as soon as possible.
