What to do if you have high blood pressure in your thirties

Thirty-year-old high blood pressure may be primary hypertension or secondary hypertension, such as primary aldosteronism, pheochromocytoma, cortisolism and so on. It is necessary to take appropriate treatment according to different causes.
1. Primary hypertension: it may be caused by genetic factors, bad habits and excessive mental stress. It is suggested to take low-salt, low-fat and low-cholesterol diet as the main focus, do some sports appropriately, avoid staying up late, and at the same time, keep a good mood, avoid excessive tension and anxiety, which will also help in the control of blood pressure to a certain extent. If you find that your blood pressure is still poorly controlled after changing your lifestyle, go to the hospital in time and follow the doctor’s instructions for medication to lower your blood pressure.
2. Secondary hypertension:
(1) Primary aldosteronism: adrenal cortex hyperplasia or tumor secretes too much aldosterone, which can lead to primary aldosteronism, and hypertension is often accompanied by hypokalemia. Spironolactone tablets, glucocorticoids and other drugs can be taken as prescribed by doctors for treatment.
(2) Pheochromocytoma: originated from adrenal medulla, sympathetic ganglion and other parts of chromophilic tissues in the body, the tumor releases excessive adrenaline, norepinephrine and dopamine intermittently or persistently, which leads to the increase of blood pressure. It can be prescribed to use α-adrenergic receptor blockers to control blood pressure, such as terazosin hydrochloride tablets and other drugs, or surgical treatment.
(3) Cortisolism: mainly due to excessive secretion of adrenocorticotropic hormone, resulting in adrenal cortical hyperplasia, resulting in increased hormone levels in the body causing high blood pressure. It can be treated with drugs such as hydrochlorothiazide tablets as prescribed by the doctor.
Patients with high blood pressure also need to take long-term antihypertensive drugs as prescribed by the doctor. If there is any discomfort, you need to go to the hospital immediately, under the guidance of the doctor for treatment.
