Treatment guidelines: 1. Surgery: Surgery is an effective treatment for early cervical cancer. Conical hysterectomy and cervical amputation can cure some cases. It is mainly applied to young women who wish to have children. Other patients should be treated by simple hysterectomy. From 1952 to 1985, a total of 1165 cases of invasive cervical cancer were admitted to the Maternity Hospital of Shanghai Medical University, including 1049 cases of radical surgery, whose five-year survival rate was 100% for stage Ia (early invasive) and 97.6±0.6% for stage Ib, (invasive cancer).
