This needs to be determined by the severity of the symptoms.
If the fetal heart rate is between 100 and 110 beats/min, the fetus will mostly survive with prompt treatment; if the fetal heart rate is less than 100 beats/min, it is severe bradycardia and is a precursor to fetal death.
