Most clinical hiccups are the result of diaphragmatic spasm, often caused by esophageal hiatal hernia or gastroesophageal reflux disease. The following points need to be noted: 1. Take light food as the mainstay and do not eat spicy and stimulating food. 2. Pay attention to rest and prevent overexertion. 3. Give drug-based symptomatic treatment, commonly used are Itopride tablets, two tablets once, three times a day. Metoclopramide hydrochloride injection, 10mg once intramuscular injection, 1-2 times a day. Isopropazine hydrochloride injection 25mg intramuscularly once a day. If there is still no relief, ondansetron or granisetron injection can be given intravenously. If there is still some recurrent belching and bloating at night, chlorpromazine injection can be given intramuscularly. Most of the treatments given in these areas can achieve significant relief. If relief is still not seen, it is best to improve gastroscopy or barium meal examination of the upper gastrointestinal tract to further clarify the diagnosis.
