How long does it take to recover from an eye opening

It takes about 7 days for the wound to heal and about 3-6 months to fully recover naturally. Eye opening surgery is a surgical procedure to deal with the inner canthus of the inner corner of the eye, which will leave an incision scar locally in the corner of the eye after the surgery. Usually about 1-2 months after eye surgery, there will be obvious red marks in the corners of the eyes, when the scars are in the proliferation period, harder and higher than the skin. After 3-6 months after surgery, the scar will gradually mature and stabilize, the scar will become softer and the color will gradually fade. After the surgery until the stitches are removed, attention should be paid to the local cleanliness of the corner of the eye, especially after the surgery for a long time with the eyes closed, which will lead to increased secretions and irritation of the inner corner of the eye and affect the recovery of the incision in the inner corner of the eye. If discomfort occurs, you can wipe with a cotton swab dipped in water, and local redness can be coated with erythromycin ointment to prevent inflammation.
