What’s wrong with the drooling headache?

If a patient has recent headache and drooling, for middle-aged and elderly patients, they must be alert to cerebrovascular disease, especially if the patient has hypertension, diabetes, hyperhomocysteinemia, and the presence of high-risk factors for atherosclerosis such as smoking, alcohol consumption, and usual salty eating habits. If the above symptoms occur, one must be alert to acute cerebrovascular disease, such as cerebral thrombosis or cerebral hemorrhage. Patients are advised to go to the hospital for blood tests, routine biochemical examinations and brain MRI to clarify the cause of the disease after relevant examinations so that symptomatic treatment can be given. In case of ischemic cerebrovascular disease, it is recommended to give 100mg of aspirin once a day orally at bedtime and 4 capsules of anti-thrombotic and anti-logistic capsules 3 times a day orally to improve the blood supply to the brain, which can significantly relieve the symptoms of headache and drooling in some patients. Risk factors should also be controlled, patients should be told to avoid smoking, alcohol, appropriate physical exercise, and a light diet, and comprehensive treatment will be carried out, and patients’ symptoms will improve more obviously.
