The number of days to pass the risk period after heart bypass surgery is determined by the patient’s specific condition, age and physical condition. Currently, the success rate of heart bypass surgery in China is 97%-98%, and 1 week after surgery is the risk period. If the patient is in good physical condition and has no other underlying diseases, he/she will recover well in the post-operative period of 4-6 weeks with 8-10 hours of sleep per day. If the patient is older and has underlying diseases with many postoperative complications, the risk period will be relatively longer and requires strict observation. Patients need to pay attention to rest after heart bypass surgery, avoid strenuous exercise, diet should pay attention to the combination of nutrition and regular review.
