Trends in allergic diseases in children

  Allergic disease trends in children, with the increasing industrialization of society, allergic diseases are increasing year by year throughout the world. In 2005, the World Allergy Organization published an epidemiological survey of 30 countries, in which 22% of the total population of 1.2 billion people suffer from IgE-mediated allergic diseases, the incidence of allergic diseases in the United States is about 20%-40%, becoming the sixth largest chronic disease in the United States. In the United States, the prevalence of allergic diseases is about 20-40%, making it the sixth most common chronic disease in the United States.  WHO has listed allergic diseases as a “priority disease for research and prevention in the 21st century”. Common allergic diseases include: facial eczema in infancy (commonly known as ringworm); allergic rhinitis in early childhood; and allergic asthma.
