Can drug-allergic rashes heal on their own?

Drug allergic rash is known as drug rash. Patients with mild symptoms of drug rashes can recover spontaneously after discontinuing the suspected medication, but if the symptoms are more severe, medication is required. If a rash develops while using a drug, the continued use of the sensitizing drug needs to be stopped immediately. If the symptoms of the rash are mild, it usually recovers on its own after discontinuing the medication, and the lesions may subside. If the rash is more severe, it is usually difficult to recover on its own and medication is needed. Antihistamines, including loratadine, can be used, along with vitamin C. Hormone therapy, such as prednisone, can be used if necessary. If the itching is severe, you can use glycerin lotion to relieve it. If you have a drug rash, go to the hospital for examination and treatment, and follow your doctor’s instructions when using the above drugs.
