Clavicle fracture sleeping position requirements

For patients with clavicle fractures, the following requirements are in place for sleeping positions.1. It is recommended that all patients with clavicle fractures sleep in the supine position. Do not sleep in the prone or lateral position, as this position may lead to re-displacement of the fracture end, as both fixation and repositioning are not particularly strong when conservative treatment is taken. For patients with surgical incision and internal fixation, they may lie briefly on their side on the uninjured side, with a soft pillow under the armpit of the injured side to reduce stimulation of the clavicle. 2. Even during sleep, the patient should pay attention to the protection of the injured limb, such as using a shoulder sling or a triangular scarf to bind the forearm in front of the chest.
