Preparation before going to the dentist

As the saying goes, “You don’t fight a war without preparation”, and you have to be prepared for everything. Going to the dentist is no exception. 1. Have a good breakfast. If you are in the habit of skipping breakfast, it is recommended that you eat a little something in the morning before your dental appointment. Some people, because of hunger, coupled with the ease of nervousness to see the dentist, will have symptoms of hypoglycemia, or even fainting. 2. Do a good oral cleaning before the dental appointment. This way, the doctor will not need to spend time to remove food debris from the teeth. Moreover, a clean mouth will always look more comfortable. Especially to remind, do not eat onion garlic mustard and other food with special smell, so as not to cause embarrassment to everyone. 3, dress appropriately, simplicity is good. Although we will put on a chest scarf for you during the treatment, it will still be unpleasant in your heart in case you accidentally wet your valuable clothing. Ladies are advised to wear light makeup, and excessive lip gloss will obviously cause inconvenience to the doctor’s operation. 4. Prepare medical history information. When you visit the dentist, the doctor will ask you about your medical history and then combine it with various examinations to make a correct diagnosis and give the appropriate treatment. The medical history is what discomfort you have and how long you have been suffering from it. For example, if you have a toothache, you should usually tell us exactly what part of the tooth hurts. How long has it been there? Is the pain mild and vague or intense and severe? Is it persistent or paroxysmal? Is it spontaneous or caused by irritation? etc. When giving your medical history, please answer the doctor’s questions in a concise manner, without exaggeration or secrecy. For drug allergies, heart disease and other systemic conditions must also be explained to the doctor. 5.Dental treatment is often time-sensitive, so please follow up with the doctor as soon as possible. To ensure that the doctor has enough time to treat you, please arrive on time for your appointment.
