Generally, menstruation will occur about 5-7 days after drinking motherwort granules, depending on each patient’s condition and the cause of amenorrhea. It can be used to treat delayed menstruation, amenorrhea, dysmenorrhea and relieve dysmenorrhea. If the patient is not pregnant and the endometrium is already of a certain thickness, taking motherwort granules for about 5-7 days will cause the endometrium to shed, resulting in menstruation. If the patient has amenorrhea due to pregnancy, taking motherwort granules will not restore normal menstruation and may even lead to miscarriage. If the amenorrhea is caused by gynecological inflammation or endocrine disorder, taking motherwort granules will not cause the onset of menstruation. For women with normal menstrual flow, it is not recommended to take motherwort during menstruation to avoid increased bleeding and prolonged periods.
