Can terbinafine hydrochloride tablets treat psoriasis?

Psoriasis is medically known as psoriasis, and terbinafine hydrochloride tablets do not usually treat psoriasis and do not work as a cure.

Terbinafine Hydrochloride Tablets are antifungal medications for fungal infections caused by Trichophyton epidermidis, Microsporum canis and Sclerotinia floccosum, as well as various types of ringworm.

Psoriasis is a chronic auto-inflammatory skin disease, usually due to the interaction of genetic factors, environmental factors, immune factors and so on. It is not caused by a fungal infection, so terbinafine hydrochloride tablets do not work to treat psoriasis.

Psoriasis patients should be under the guidance of a doctor to comprehensively develop a reasonable treatment program based on factors such as condition, needs, tolerability, previous treatment history and adverse reactions to medications. This includes topical or oral medications, physical therapy, etc. Patients should avoid blind self-medication to avoid serious consequences.
