Diplopia as the name implies sees two shadows of something, and this brings a very big impact on the life of the patient. They become very difficult to move around, especially downward diplopia, and such patients, cannot take the stairs, and in severe cases, have difficulty even walking flat, because they cannot judge where the real stairs are and will step off. The reasons are of course complex and related to the eye position. If diplopia is caused by orbital floor breakage, orbital floor reconstruction is needed, and if it is not caused by orbital floor breakage, specialist treatment should be given by an ophthalmologist. The following treatments are common: 1. Monocular diplopia requires identification of the cause of the eye disease and treatment of the eye disease, such as glasses and cataract removal surgery. 2.For binocular diplopia, there are four treatment methods: 3.With glasses, for small angle of eye position deviation, the symptoms can be reduced with the help of glasses. 4.Treatment of myasthenia gravis. 5. For cerebral nerve or brain lesions, medication or surgical procedures such as brain tumor removal may be performed. 6.Ocular muscle surgery-correction of strabismus, or corrective reset of the stuck external muscle eye after trauma.
