Do you have trigeminal neuralgia?

Everyone has experienced headaches, but some people have unusually intense head and facial pain, some with recurring episodes that seriously affect their normal work life. Trigeminal neuralgia is one such intense pain that commonly occurs in the face. It usually occurs on one side and manifests as a lightning-like or click-like brief, severe pain that recurs. It is often triggered by an activity or touch of an area of the face such as the nose, mouth, etc. Patients often interfere with daily activities such as talking, washing, brushing, and eating to avoid painful episodes. Physical and mental pain is abnormal. Only early and clear diagnosis can effectively control recurrent attacks of the condition.
