Is the disappearance of spider moles in liver palms a sign that the liver is getting better?

The disappearance of a spider mole usually means that the liver is getting better if it is caused by liver disease. On the other hand, the disappearance of spider naevus does not necessarily mean that the liver is getting better. Generally speaking, the disappearance of spider nevus of liver palms is due to the damage of liver cells and the decrease of liver’s estrogen control function, which leads to the excessive secretion of estrogen in the body and makes the capillaries dilate, thus the symptoms of spider nevus of liver palms appear. As liver disease patients undergo treatment for liver function, as liver function slowly recovers, the estrogen in the body returns to a normal level, the degree of capillary expansion improves, and the symptoms such as spider nevus and spider palsy of the liver will be reduced or even disappear. However, spider moles and liver palms are not necessarily caused by impaired liver function, and some normal people may also have spider moles and liver palms. If the liver function is normal after the symptoms such as liver palms and spider moles appear, it does not mean that the liver is getting better after the symptoms disappear. For patients whose liver palms and spider moles have disappeared, they should go to the hospital in time for review and further treatment according to the development of the disease.
