Our hospital was surveyed by the National Health and Family Planning Commission on the clinical application of the latest technology in radiotherapy

Radiotherapy Department of Oncology accepts the survey on the clinical application of the latest technology of radiotherapy by National Health and Family Planning Commission Published:2013-11-25 Source:Radiotherapy Department of Oncology Author:Cheng Jian The survey activity is organized by the Expert Committee on Management of Large-scale Medical Devices of the National Health and Family Planning Commission, which is to carry out a comprehensive and detailed assessment of the clinical application of the latest technology of radiotherapy of high-end medical linear gas pedals and the results of the survey will provide a basis for the assessment of the configuration and approval of configuration and use of radiotherapy equipment by the Expert Committee on Management of Large-scale Medical Devices of the National Health and Family Planning Commission. The results of the survey will provide a basis and support for the large-scale medical equipment management expert committee of the National Health and Family Planning Commission to carry out radiotherapy equipment configuration assessment and configuration and use approval. Including our hospital, four hospitals, including Peking University Cancer Hospital, the First Affiliated Hospital of Jilin University and Shantou University Affiliated Hospital, received this sample survey. Zhang Jiandong, Department of Tumor Radiotherapy, Qianfoshan Hospital, Shandong Province In 2002, WHO announced that 50% of malignant tumors can be cured, of which surgery contributes 49%, radiotherapy contributes 40%, chemotherapy contributes 11%, and 70% of the tumors need radiotherapy. It can be seen that tumor radiotherapy is an important therapeutic means and an essential part of comprehensive treatment, from radical radiotherapy for head and neck tumors, perioperative neoadjuvant radiotherapy, intraoperative radiotherapy, postoperative adjuvant radiotherapy, to synchronous radiotherapy and chemotherapy for locally advanced stage, and decompensated radiotherapy for locally relapsed and metastatic tumors, all of them need the intervention of radiotherapy. Since the development of volumetric rotational intensity-modulated radiotherapy in 2012, our hospital has treated more than 1,100 patients involving head and neck, thorax, abdomen, pelvis and limbs, etc. The radiotherapy technology and therapeutic efficacy have reached the international advanced level, and we are one of the few hospitals in China that have developed advanced radiotherapy technologies such as VMAT, IMRT, SBRT, CBCT, IGRT, etc., which have been recognized by the attention and approval of the National Health and Family Planning Commission of the People’s Republic of China. attention and recognition of the National Health and Family Planning Commission. It has achieved excellent efficacy in radical radiotherapy for early and middle-late esophageal cancer, SBRT for early lung cancer, synchronous radiotherapy for locally advanced lung cancer, synchronous radiotherapy for advanced lung cancer, synchronous radiotherapy for head and neck tumors and craniocerebral tumors, and adjuvant radiotherapy for postoperative treatment of breast, stomach, rectum, and cervical cancers, etc., which not only eliminates the tumors, increases the rate of local control, and prolongs the overall survival time, but also It can not only eliminate the tumor, increase the local control rate, prolong the overall survival time, but also protect the surrounding normal tissues to the maximum extent and improve the quality of life.
