Late pregnancy is the period from 28 weeks of pregnancy until the end of delivery at 40 weeks and is called late pregnancy. Early pregnancy is within 13 weeks + 6 days of gestation and mid pregnancy is between 14-27 weeks + 6 days of gestation. The number of weeks of pregnancy is usually counted from the first day of the last menstrual period and can be checked against the ultrasound to see if the number of weeks of pregnancy matches. In late pregnancy, we should pay special attention to fetal movement and tummy pain, we should learn to check the number of fetal movement for fetal movement monitoring, under normal circumstances, the number of fetal movement is not less than 3-5 times an hour, and the number of obvious fetal movement is more than 30-40 times in 12 hours. As long as the fetal movement is regular, rhythmic, not much change, that proves that the fetal development is normal. If the number of fetal movements is abnormal within a period of time, frequent fetal movements or restlessness without intervals, it indicates intrauterine hypoxia of the fetus, which should be promptly treated by a doctor and, if necessary, termination of pregnancy. If there is redness, regular contractions and water breakage, the baby may be delivered at any time, so you should prepare delivery items and go to the hospital in time for delivery. In terms of diet, do not consume too much carbohydrates and saturated fats, such as rice, steamed buns, cream and fried foods, during the late pregnancy to avoid the fetus becoming too large, which is not conducive to delivery. You can properly consume high quality protein easily digestible food such as fish and shrimp, eat more fresh vegetables, supplement various vitamins and trace elements, and avoid eating spicy and stimulating food.
