Minimally invasive neurosurgery with neuronavigation combined with endoscopy

After attending the International Congress of Neurosurgery, Xu Geng of the Department of Neurosurgery at Xuanwu Hospital, Capital Medical University, was very impressed and learned about the advanced technology from abroad. The incision caused a lot of psychological pressure to the patient and also prolonged the recovery period of the patient after surgery.    After thinking long and hard, if the intracranial tumor was removed with a small incision after precise positioning, the patient’s postoperative recovery would be significantly accelerated.    Also in this week, I led the young doctors in my group to perform 2 minimally invasive surgeries.    The patient’s incision was about 5cm in length, and the postoperative suturing method was intradermal, which eliminated the need to remove stitches after the surgery.    For carrying out this technology, it greatly reduces the postoperative pain of patients. We hope to help our patients and friends!
