How many days does it take for a false contraction to become a real contraction?

In late pregnancy, if false contractions become frequent, it is a sign that regular contractions (true contractions) will most likely start 1-2 weeks later. False contractions are irregular contractions, which are the manifestation of preterm labor, with short duration, long intervals and irregularity, and the intensity of contractions does not increase, often appearing at night and disappearing in the morning. True contractions are regular contractions, commonly known as “paroxysms”, which are the beginning of labor after delivery, with a relatively short and weak duration at the beginning and long intervals, and gradually lengthening in duration and increasing in intensity as labor progresses, with short intervals and accompanied by progressive dilatation of the cervix and progressive descent of the fetal dew. False contractions increase significantly 1-2 weeks before delivery, when the mother-to-be needs to adjust her mind, relax and be ready for the birth of her baby.
