TCT test is actually what we usually call cervical cancer screening, also called liquid-based thin layer cytology test, which is the most advanced cervical cancer cytology screening technology in the world. TCT can effectively detect whether the cervix has cancerous tendency and whether there are inflammatory cells, mycobacteria, trichomonas, chlamydia and other infections. Since the cervix is a very important organ of women, it has no painful nerve, and even if there is a lesion or a very serious lesion, it is not felt. Therefore, many cervical cancers are already in advanced stage when symptoms are detected. Regular TCT examination can detect precancerous cervical lesions earlier, so it is of great clinical significance for the prevention of cervical cancer and early treatment of cervical lesions. The TCT test only requires scraping cells from the surface of the cervix and is not painful, so women only need to avoid menstruation to have this test. Currently, the age group of cervical cancer is getting younger and younger, so it is recommended that women who have sex should have TCT and HPV test once a year for early detection of cervical lesions and timely treatment.
