It’s not scary to be sick (besides, myopia is not a disease), but it’s scary to be anxious to find a doctor. In order to get rid of glasses for my child, I went around and asked around. Guided by advertisements, they bought a myopia treatment device with hope and let their children stick to the treatment every day, but after a few months, both parents and children were disappointed. We respectfully advise that so far, neither the National Myopia Prevention and Treatment Expert Steering Group nor the State Education Commission has ever supervised or recommended any kind of myopia prevention and treatment instrument. The lack of scientific assertions and pseudoscience should be taken seriously by parents to prevent them from being deceived. Reasonable eye habits plus appropriate prescription glasses are the best policy.
