Dizziness and cold sweats in pregnant women may be caused by low blood sugar.
If you do not consume enough carbohydrates, or if you consume too much, it will cause your blood sugar to drop, resulting in dizziness, blurred vision and cold sweats.
Some pregnant women with diabetes may also experience hypoglycaemia after taking hypoglycaemic medication. If they are relieved by carbohydrate supplementation, they can be observed at home. If it does not improve, seek immediate medical attention to find out if it is caused by another illness. Dizziness is also likely to occur due to lack of oxygen in crowded and airless places, such as supermarkets and subways.
