The correct method of double eyelid hot compress several times a day

Hot compresses can be applied 3-5 days after double eyelid surgery, 3-5 times a day for 15-20 minutes each time. After double eyelid surgery, hot compresses are not recommended for 1-2 days, you need to choose cold compresses to reduce swelling and relieve inflammation. You can apply a hot compress 3-5 days after surgery, using a clean towel soaked in warm water at about 40°C, wring it out and put it on your eyes for 15-20 minutes, 3-5 times a day, to speed up blood circulation and lymphatic flow around the eyelid incision, accelerate metabolism, help reduce swelling after eyelid surgery, promote eyelid recovery, and also relieve eye fatigue. Within 1 week after double eyelid surgery, it is recommended that patients keep their eyelids locally dry and clean, using 75% medical alcohol swabs to gently wipe the surgical area, while maintaining sufficient sleep time and not playing with cell phones and staying up late for a long time, which is better for the recovery of double eyelids.
