Whether early stage tuberculosis can heal itself

In the case of mild tuberculosis, self-healing is possible, but not everyone can heal on their own, and it is highly dependent on the health status and immune function of the individual. If the lesion is found to be old at the time of examination, it means that the previous disease has healed on its own. Tuberculosis is a very contagious disease caused by the invasion of Mycobacterium tuberculosis into the body, resulting in infection. Because there are no particularly obvious symptoms in the early stages, it is difficult to be detected in time, resulting in some people having tuberculosis without knowing it themselves, and if it is mild enough to heal on its own, no treatment is needed. When a patient develops symptoms such as fever, weakness, night sweats, and weight loss, it indicates tuberculosis activity and requires anti-tuberculosis treatment. If the disease is severe, or if drug-resistant TB infection develops, treatment can be more difficult. It is recommended to have regular medical checkups and to actively treat tuberculosis that is detected at an early stage. During the period of taking anti-tuberculosis drugs, it is necessary to follow medical advice and not to stop or reduce the drugs by oneself. In conclusion, it is possible for mild tuberculosis to heal on its own, but not everyone can heal on their own. Patients are advised to seek medical attention in a timely manner and under the guidance of a doctor, to take reasonable anti-tuberculosis chemotherapy, while paying attention to rest and balanced nutrition.
