If your child has a white birthmark on the forehead, first of all, do not give your child self-medication, if you use medication make sure to stop it and visit a regular hospital dermatology department after 3-5 days. You can check Wood’s lamp to rule out vitiligo. A fungal immunofluorescence test can be done to check for bacterial fungal infections. A relevant skin CT or dermoscopy can be done to clarify the exact extent and nature of the white birthmark.
