The symptoms of myocardial ischemia are highly variable. Some patients may not have any uncomfortable symptoms, but only a certain amount of myocardial ischemia is found when an electrocardiogram is done. Some patients may feel panic, weakness, chest tightness and shortness of breath, while others may experience numbness in the limbs and chest pain, which may be different for each patient. Sometimes it also depends mainly on the cause that triggers myocardial ischemia, such as myocardial ischemia caused by hyperthyroidism, and some patients may also experience diarrhea, profuse sweating, and irritability. In the case of myocardial ischemia due to hypothyroidism, some people may experience constipation and abdominal distension. Other patients mainly feel weakness or uncomfortable symptoms such as panic and palpitations.
