Maternity checkup items and time

The maternity checkup should start when the early pregnancy is diagnosed. In addition to the double examination for abnormalities in the soft birth canal and pelvic reproductive organs, the basic blood pressure should be measured, the heart and lungs should be checked, and the necessary laboratory tests and ultrasound should be performed. Usually, the first antenatal checkup is performed at 6-7 weeks of pregnancy to observe intrauterine and ectopic pregnancy, gestational week, and singleton and twin pregnancies. The physician will ask detailed questions about the pregnant woman’s previous menstrual cycle and general health status. If there is a family history of genetic disease or delivery messenger, chorionic villus culture should be performed for karyotype analysis; nt test should be performed around 11-13 weeks of pregnancy; midtrimester Down’s screening can be performed at 16 weeks of pregnancy; ultrasound fetal malformation screening is required at 20 weeks of pregnancy; at 24 weeks of pregnancy, glucose tolerance test can be performed; obstetric ultrasound color examination is required at 32 weeks of pregnancy. In addition, after 32 weeks, every 2 weeks, mainly fetal heart monitoring will be performed. After the first pregnancy test, the doctor will arrange to inform the next check-up items and time, so it is recommended to do the pregnancy test regularly according to the doctor’s instruction.
