Uterine fibroids and vaginal dryness are not related. If vaginal dryness occurs, it is usually related to vaginal inflammation as well as estrogen and progesterone. In women of childbearing age, vaginal dryness and low discharge may be due to vaginal inflammation or estrogen deficiency, resulting in the absence of normal leucorrhea secretion, leading to significant vaginal dryness, pain and other discomfort. For vaginal dryness in perimenopausal women, it is often due to the gradual decline of ovarian function and the gradual decrease of estrogen and progesterone secretion, especially in menopausal women, the vaginal dryness symptoms will be more obvious. Uterine fibroids are the most common benign tumors of the female genitalia. Most patients with fibroids have no obvious clinical symptoms, and the occurrence of fibroids is closely related to elevated female hormone levels. Such patients often have an excess of estrogen production, which is the opposite of what causes vaginal dryness. Therefore, there is no link between the two. Women with vaginal dryness need to be examined at a hospital and treated with relevant oral medication and vaginal tamponade in case of vaginal inflammation or hormone supplementation in case of hormone deficiency.
