What is vertigo?

Patient: Two years ago, diagnosed with stroke at Harbin Medical College, with capillary embolism of the mid-drive nerve pituitary, hospitalized and treated well. Aftermath? is left leg inflexibility, discharged to home: 4 units of insulin in the morning, normal blood sugar, 150 blood pressure, a week ago, dizziness, eating and vomiting, the whole body feels moving up and down, like sitting on a boat, today and up and down dizziness, walking for 30 minutes, head confusion, general weakness. Now I am taking dizziness pill (Chinese medicine) for a week, but no improvement. Li Kang, Department of Cardiology, Beijing Hospital, Ministry of Health: Blood pressure is not high when vertigo is present, suggesting that it is not related to hypertension. Is there any tinnitus during vertigo? If so, it suggests a high possibility of vestibular dysfunction, such as Meniere’s syndrome. Is there any cervical spondylosis? If none of the above, consider simple vertigo and suggest a neurology consultation. Symptomatic treatment is sufficient. Be alert to the possibility of another stroke! Be sure to take aspirin at regular intervals!
