Does a sebaceous nevus grow hair after removal?

It is possible that hair may not grow back at the surgical site after a sebaceous nevus is removed.
A nevus of sebaceous gland is a misshapen tumor formed by abnormal development of sebaceous glands and other tissues. It is a congenital disease caused by a genetic mutation and often occurs on the scalp. Sebaceous nevus can be removed surgically, followed by pulling together the stitches. Although the surgical site and the scar will not grow hair again, the pulling together of the stitches will have little effect on the appearance.
If you feel that it affects your appearance, you can consider hair transplantation, in which a portion of the tissue surrounding the hair follicle is removed completely through a special instrument and transplanted to the location where the hair is needed, thus improving the aesthetics.
If you need to remove a sebaceous nevus, you should go to a regular hospital to reduce the risk of surgery.
