A child snoring in bed is not a warning of a sleep disorder because the child is a good sleeper. Upper respiratory tract obstruction can lead to a decrease in growth hormone secretion at night in children, and sleep apnea in children is a disorder of impaired respiratory regulation caused by a variety of reasons. Repeated respiratory infections, asthma, tonsil obesity, adenoid hypertrophy and genetics can all contribute to the condition. Because it can lead to heart, lung, brain and other organs damage, will bring a variety of complications, and affect the child’s intellectual development, so it is a child’s healthy growth of the road “stumbling block”. Some children are hyperactive, obsessive-compulsive, irritable and depressed, which are also related to poor sleep. The most obvious symptom of children’s sleep breathing disorder is snoring, and children’s unwillingness to cover up at night, drooling, bedwetting, nightmares, sleepwalking and so on are typical symptoms of sleep disorders. As a result of not getting sufficient deep sleep, children will not only nap during the day, but also suffer from speech defects, reduced appetite and swallowing difficulties. Some children also suffer from personality disorders such as abnormal shyness, developmental delays, rebellious and aggressive behavior. Doctors remind parents that if their children have symptoms of snoring they should be treated promptly, and if they are obese they should lose weight as soon as possible, which can prevent snoring to some extent.
