The dangers of allergic diseases

If left untreated, mild allergic diseases can worsen their symptoms year by year and evolve from allergy to a single allergen to multiple allergens. Without proper and timely treatment, allergic rhinitis can lead to memory loss, affect children’s intellectual development, and may develop into asthma. According to statistics, the risk of asthma in patients with allergic rhinitis is 8-10 times higher than normal, and a significant number of asthma patients have had symptoms of allergic rhinitis before an asthma attack. Asthma can seriously affect people’s normal life, work and study, lead to growth and development disorders in children, and gradually evolve into chronic obstructive pulmonary disease or pulmonary heart disease, which seriously endangers people’s health. Allergic conjunctivitis and dermatitis, if not treated early, can easily complicate other serious allergic diseases such as allergic asthma and rhinitis.
