Habitual cervical obliquity is a common benign disease in pediatrics, and patients can alleviate the condition through general treatment, surgical treatment, physical therapy and so on. 1. General treatment: patients should correct bad lifestyle, avoid keeping a position for a long time, and try to breastfeed newborn babies on both sides, so that the babies’ heads are inclined on both sides. Manual pulling treatment can be given appropriately, such as holding the patient’s head with both hands, slowly turning the head to the other side, with the earlobes close to the shoulders, and moving in the opposite direction to the tilted direction. 2. Surgery: If the patient’s facial development and shoulder asymmetry are affected, the condition can be corrected by surgery, so that the muscle tone and muscle group activity of both sides of the neck can be balanced to control the effect of the tilt. 3. Physiotherapy: patients with habitual cervical strabismus can also increase blood circulation in the neck through localized hot compresses and massages to improve the symptoms. Rehabilitation training can also be done, such as using a neck brace to correct strabismus and utilizing external force to pull the sternocleidomastoid muscle to restore it to normal. Most of the patients with habitual cervical strabismus can be clinically cured after timely correction of improper posture. It is suggested that patients should pay attention to rest in their life, emphasize on balanced nutrition, regular diet, regular quantity, and maintain a good state of health and so on.
