Cerebral arteriovenous malformation (AVM) is a mass of intertwined abnormal vessels of different sizes in the brain. (Figure 1) Patients are mostly young. The clinical symptoms are: 1. recurrent spontaneous cerebral hemorrhage. (Figure 2) 2. Intermittent seizures. Meng Xiangjing, Department of Neurosurgery, Shandong Qianfo Mountain Hospital 3, transient cerebral ischemic attack. 4, Others, such as hemiparesis, aphasia, nausea, vomiting, etc. Diagnosis: cranial CT, cranial MRI. the most reliable method is whole brain angiography. (Figure 3) Treatment: craniotomy for resection, with high bleeding and risk. (Figure 4) x-knife, γ-knife irradiation, slow onset of action, usually 1-2 years. Endovascular interventional embolization treatment, no incision, only a thin catheter is inserted from the heel of the thigh, and medical adhesive is injected into the malformed blood vessel, which can make the malformed blood vessel disappear.
