Memantin can treat mycoplasma infections. It is used for the treatment of skin and soft tissue infections, respiratory system infections, digestive system infections, genitourinary system infections caused by mycoplasma infections, and also for the adjunctive treatment of amoebiasis. This drug is rapidly and completely absorbed orally, and food has no significant effect on the absorption of this drug. The main adverse effects of this drug are gastrointestinal reactions, patients may experience nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, diarrhea and other clinical symptoms; in addition, skin rashes, or exfoliative dermatitis and other clinical manifestations; rare patients may experience kidney damage, as well as dental or bone dysplasia.
