IVF is also known as in vitro fertilization and embryo transfer technique. Through a special technique called in vitro fertilization, the egg and sperm are fertilized under artificial control outside the body and the early embryos are transferred to the woman’s uterus to produce a baby. The time it takes for the fertilized egg to implant depends on the woman’s health condition. Usually, it takes 3-4 days to implant, while some women may take up to 7-10 days to implant due to their health condition. Theoretically, women do not feel anything after the IVF transplant even if the gestational sac is in bed, but some people have different physical conditions and may experience a series of symptoms such as low fever, backache and blood in the discharge. If the hcg level is relatively high and shows a trend of doubling every other day, then it means that the fertilized egg has successfully settled in the uterine cavity and has gradually developed. However, if the hcg level is not high and decreases over time, and vaginal bleeding increases, this is a sign of IVF failure.
