Some HPV infections in men will heal on their own. HPV, also known as human papillomavirus, is a sexually transmitted disease that occurs in the external genitalia and anus, and is divided into high-risk and low-risk types. Some young and middle-aged people who are sexually active are prone to infection. After being infected by HPV virus, it will be latent in the body under the condition of normal immunity, when the replication ability of the virus is often low, when the body resistance is normal, most patients can clear the virus by themselves. According to the World Health Organization, if the resistance of patients who have been infected with HPV is normal, within 1-2 years, even if nothing is done, about 90% of the virus will be automatically cleared by the body’s immune system. However, once the body’s resistance decreases, the virus in the body will replicate in large quantities, resulting in the appearance of the corresponding clinical symptoms, which cannot be cleared on their own and require regular review.
