There are many causes of nose peeling, which may be due to long-term use of irritating cleansers, exposure to the sun, poor lifestyle habits and frequent rubbing of the skin on the nose, resulting in damaged skin stratum corneum cells shedding and manifesting as nose peeling. It may also be seen in skin conditions such as seborrheic dermatitis, light skin diseases, occupational dermatitis and discoid lupus erythematosus. Flaking of the nose may also occur when the external environment is too dry, or when there is a vitamin deficiency.
