Scleral hyperemia is not painful, do I still need treatment?

Treatment is required.
When scleral yellowing is present it means that the serum total bilirubin concentration exceeds 34.2 μmol/L as dominant jaundice, which is already much beyond the normal range, indicating that the primary disease is quite serious and, according to the analysis of its possible etiology, if left untreated, the digestive system disease may further develop into hepatic encephalopathy leading to the patient’s confusion, etc.
In the case of haematological disorders, infectious complications such as increased anaemia in the patient also follow.
