Dry bronchiectasis Patients mainly present with hemoptysis, hemoptysis in small, medium or large amounts. The pulse is flat, or sunken and weak, or sunken and fine. Treatment in remission is very important, often through remission treatment can significantly reduce seizures, or basically no seizures, which is often ignored by clinicians and patients. Most people believe that no treatment is needed if there are no symptoms, which is not true. (3) Lung and spleen qi deficiency: small or medium amount of bleeding during the attack period. During the remission period, the patient feels weakness, slight chest tightness, sometimes feels obstruction in the throat, with a light red tongue, fat, yellow fur, and a weak pulse. Treatment takes more than 6 months or longer. In addition, during the acute attack period, fresh small thistle, fresh reed root, fresh dendrobium, fresh raw earth, fresh lotus root, pounded and extracted juice, 3 to 4 times a day, has the effect of nourishing Yin and moistening the lung to stop bleeding. During the remission period, fresh small thistle, fresh raw earth, fresh rhizome, pounded and extracted juice can clear lung heat, remove blood stasis and nourish Yin and Blood. The patient is characterized by high volume of pus-like sputum and fishy odor. Previously, the clinical treatment of pulmonary carbuncle was divided into epigastric period, pus-filled period, ulcerative period, and recovery period according to “The Essentials of the Golden Horoscope”. In addition to the application of Chinese medicine decoction, Chinese medicine intravenous drip is also a common treatment method. Commonly used drugs include bitter ginseng base injection, Shuanghuanglian powder injection, Qingkailing injection, and Andrographis injection. The combination of Chinese and Western medicine can shorten the treatment time, the patient recovers quickly and in good physical condition, and the efficacy is better than that of Chinese medicine alone, or Western medicine alone. The Chinese medicine decoction can be divided into the treatment in the attack phase and remission phase. The treatment is to clear heat and eliminate blood stasis. The formula is Yinhua, Forsythia, Radix et Rhizoma, Salvia, Radix et Rhizoma, Radix et Rhizoma, Rutabaga, Job’s Tear, Green Peel, Antelope powder (punch). In remission: The patient still sometimes coughs and spits yellow phlegm, weakness, sweating, red tongue with thin yellow coating and slippery pulse. Therefore, I believe that patients with frequent recurrent episodes and coughing up blood in large amounts confined to one lobe are the indications for surgery. In addition, patients with bleeding cancer and localized chronic ulcerative inflammatory bleeding need early surgery.
