What about brain tinnitus?

  For cerebral tinnitus, the clinical treatment is mostly based on the etiology and pathogenesis of the disease and the corresponding typology. Specifically: 1. Liver and kidney yin deficiency: the symptoms include cerebral tinnitus, flushing of the face, soreness and weakness of the waist and knees, dizziness and dizziness, night sweating, red tongue with little coating and thin or counted pulse. Ni Hongzhang[ 7] used Liouwei Dihuang Tang combined with Blood Mansions and Stagnation Tang to tonify the kidneys and open the ligaments, treating those with Qi and blood blockage.  2, deficiency of kidney yang: the symptoms include thunder in the brain when it is severe, thunder incessantly when it is mild, soreness and weakness of the waist and knees, lack of warmth in the extremities, cold sensation in the lower half of the body, clear and long urine, cold pain in the abdomen, pale tongue and fat body, thin white fur, and weak pulse. Treatment should be to warm the Yang, nourish the kidneys and nourish the brain, with the addition and subtraction of Right Return Pill.  3, heart and spleen Qi deficiency: symptoms include frequent brain tinnitus, loose stools, sleepy limbs, less breath and lazy speech, pale and fat tongue with tooth marks, thin white or white greasy moss, and slow pulse. The treatment should be to benefit the Qi, strengthen the spleen, and promote clearing, which is treated with Yi Qi Smart Tang. For the above-mentioned symptoms with insomnia and dreaminess, take tonifying Zhong Yi Qi Tang with addition and subtraction to nourish the heart and spleen, tranquilize the mind, and elevate the middle energy.  4.Spleen deficiency and dampness obstruction: symptoms include cerebral tinnitus, dizziness, dullness and vague pain, chest tightness and fullness, coughing and vomiting of mucous phlegm, pale tongue with thick and greasy coating, purple veins under the tongue and slippery pulse. The treatment should be to invigorate the spleen and dry the blood, activate blood circulation and resolve stagnation. The formula is based on the combination of Radix Bupleurum, Rhizoma Atractylodis Macrocephalae and Tonic Yang Returning Five Soup. Xian Qinghui[ 8] treated brain tinnitus caused by fright injury to the kidney, thought injury to the spleen, gathering of dampness and phlegm, and wind-phlegm clouding with addition and subtraction of Han Xia Bai Zhu Tian Ma Tang. The formula is based on the combination of warm gall bladder soup and blood circulation and blood circulation soup with an addition and subtraction: 10 g of each of the following formulae: Radix Panax notoginseng, Pueraria lobata, Acorus calamus, Eugenia japonica, Yuan Zhi, Peach kernel, Safflower, Chuanxiong rhizome and leech, 15 g of each of the following formulae: Chen Pi, Fu Ling, Gua Pou, Red peony, 6 g of licorice, 30 g of Pueraria lobata, 20 g of bamboo rhizome. 5. Liver depression and fire disturbance: symptoms include cerebral tinnitus, irritability, dry and bitter mouth, red urine and dryness. Insomnia and dreaminess, red tongue with little coating or yellowish greasiness. This is due to fire inflammation of the liver and gall bladder, treated with gentian diarrhea of the liver soup to clear the liver fire. Zou Shiguang used Chai Hu Dredging Liver Soup and Gentian Diarrhea Liver Soup with addition and subtraction.  6, Qi stagnation and blood stagnation: symptoms include vocalization in the brain, insomnia and irritability, lethargy and weakness, red tongue with purple and dark edges, less yellow fur, thin or astringent pulse. It is advisable to tonify the Qi and invigorate the Blood, clear the stagnation, nourish the Yin and Blood, and nourish the Liver and Kidney.  The above classification should be used under medical supervision and prescription.
