Recommended diet for haemorrhoids

Haemorrhoids, or piles, are the most common anorectal disorder.
Patients can increase their intake of vitamin-rich (e.g. mulberries, kiwis, etc.) and dietary fibre (e.g. celery, dried nori, portobello mushrooms, etc.) foods in moderation in their daily lives. These foods increase gastrointestinal motility and do not cause excessive water loss in the body, which is beneficial for patients with constipation and other uncomfortable symptoms.
It is important to note that diet is only one part of the treatment of the disease and there are no specific foods that can remove haemorrhoids, so it is advisable to seek medical advice if you are unwell. Your doctor will be able to formulate an appropriate treatment plan and give sound dietary advice based on your specific situation.
