What should I pay attention to during the treatment of “red eye”?

Acute khat conjunctivitis, commonly known as pink eye, is more frequent in spring and is highly contagious. The main manifestations in the eye are varying degrees of conjunctival congestion and increased secretions in the conjunctival sac. Treatment is based on local irrigation and antibiotic spotting of the eye. Some patients develop bulbar conjunctival edema and eyelid swelling during the treatment process, which aggravates the eye symptoms. This condition is related to patients’ tearing, increased eye discharge and frequent rubbing in the eyes. Therefore, during the treatment process, we should pay attention to: 1. Apply medication on time. 2, reduce the constant stimulation of the eye, pay attention to repeated infections and cross-infection. 3, light diet, do not drink alcohol. 4, do not apply hot compresses, do not take a sauna. 5.Do not go to places where there is no air circulation, and do not touch objects or environments with irritating odors.
