However, the author checked the instruction manuals of the relevant drugs, such drugs are mainly used for local anesthesia, and there is no mention of the indications for the treatment of premature ejaculation on the instruction manuals of all types of gel/spray drugs, nor the hazards of long-term use. Considering that the use of this type of drugs can lead to adverse reactions such as the inability to have an erection, long-term use of gel applicators for the treatment of premature ejaculation is not recommended. For the treatment of premature ejaculation, in principle, the cause should first be clarified, including but not limited to psychological disorders (anxiety, etc.), endocrine system diseases (hyperthyroidism, etc.), prostatitis, etc.. It is recommended to seek medical treatment as early as possible, under the guidance of a professional physician, do not self-medication, so as not to cause adverse consequences.
