Premature Ejaculation Applicator for Long Term Use

Applicators for the treatment of premature ejaculation are not recommended for long-term use. According to the relevant expert consensus, local anesthetic drugs are the earlier adopted method used to treat premature ejaculation (PE), which belongs to the second-line therapy of PE treatment, and this method is only applicable to the people with sensitive penile sensation, commonly used as lidocaine-proparacaine gel and so on. However, the author checked the instruction manuals of the relevant drugs, such drugs are mainly used for local anesthesia, and there is no mention of the indications for the treatment of premature ejaculation on the instruction manuals of all types of gel/spray drugs, nor the hazards of long-term use. Considering that the use of this type of drugs can lead to adverse reactions such as the inability to have an erection, long-term use of gel applicators for the treatment of premature ejaculation is not recommended. For the treatment of premature ejaculation, in principle, the cause should first be clarified, including but not limited to psychological disorders (anxiety, etc.), endocrine system diseases (hyperthyroidism, etc.), prostatitis, etc.. It is recommended to seek medical treatment as early as possible, under the guidance of a professional physician, do not self-medication, so as not to cause adverse consequences.
