Sleep apnea

Sleep snoring is considered normal by many people, but in fact it is a disease that affects the body greatly, clinically known as snoring, the latest name of the International Health Organization sleep breathing disorder. It can affect all organs of the body, and high blood pressure and diabetes are closely related to snoring. Recently, there is a typical case in our hospital, the patient Mr. Ke was diagnosed with heart disease for a long time, and finally he was hospitalized for a long time and could not work normally. Later, he was consulted at the Department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery and found that the patient suffered from severe snoring, severe apnea during sleep at night, and a minimum oxygen saturation of 63%. After the diagnosis was clear the patient underwent UPPP surgery, and within a week of the surgery, the patient’s blood pressure and other indicators returned to normal and he was successfully discharged from the hospital and returned to work.
